Every photograph on this site is offered as a limited-edition fine art print, authenticated by MITSUGU MATSUMOTO STUDIO.  Each work is hand-signed by the artist on the verso and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.  To ensure their value and rarity, prints are released in strictly tiered editions based on size—typically in editions of 25, 12, and 5—plus Artist’s Proofs (AP).

 

Each piece is a Lambda print—a silver halide photographic print created by fusing digital technology with traditional chemical development. This process results in a continuous tone, achieving smooth tonal gradations and a remarkable sense of depth that is distinct from inkjet methods.

 

Monochrome works are printed on Ilford Baryta Paper, renowned for its deep blacks and rich textural gradations, while color works are printed on Fujicolor Professional Paper, known for its refined, subdued tones unique to the silver halide process.

 

Prints are presented framed, with three standard formats available:

Small — 20 × 16 in. (51 × 41 cm)

Medium — 32.6 × 24.0 in. (83 × 61 cm)

Large — 62.2 × 43.3 in. (158 × 110 cm)
